The expenses incurred for conducting the byepolls should be recovered from the candidate or party to which they belong as politicians are resorting to such gimmicks only because the expenses are borne by the State Govt at present. We have seen the farce of Mr. Siddhu resigning and then getting re-elected. Such activities should be viewed seriously by the CEC

Yes ,she has NO right watsoever to waste taxpayers money by seeking a repoll. Election commission should take such stupid ploys to win seriously so as not to encourage othe power hungry people. if there is a need for bypoll of a candidate other than reasons like natural death ,the contestent SHOULD pay for it.
