A temple is place of God and not someone's personal property. Believer, non-believers, member of any caste or religion is equal in front of the God. I can't imagine how priest can refuse entry into a temple and he is doing in the name of Hindu relgion. He is certainly not following the Hindu religion that I know of. One can see why so many Hindus converted to Islam and Christianity. Hindu religion has to be rescued from the clutches of these ignorant priests if it has to survive.
