Shaabara the most respected authority on vedas was Ati Shudra
by Anand Iyer on Jun 04, 2007 06:48 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Shaabara Rishi, the most respected auithority on Vedas was "ati shudra".Lomaharsha and his son Sootha Maharishi (who belonged to lower caste) were accepted as Chairperson of Assembly of Rishis. Can these so-called Brahmins who meted out this disgusting treatment to Ravi's family refute these facts?????

Mister Anand Iyer... you seem to be liking the idea of taking the debate in a tangent. The 'treatment' meted out as proclaimed by you was not for their being 'low-caste'. The minister has succeeded in creating a controversy out of nothing and people like you add fuel to fire
