You are living in a make believe world. there are ten thousand sects in christianity, protestans, catholics, syrian christians, what not. ask a catholic to marrya protestant and there wil be dissent. also converted dalits are treated with disdain. So dont tell what you do not know. Know your facts Mike before you speak.

Dear Mike, I can assure you that there are christians who do mention about their ancestry. In Konakans different surnamees can be traced to their original ancestry such as Prabhus, Shenoy, etc. We have a friend who said that her grandmother asked whether her husband was a bomman (brahmin)Cristian?
