I agree GK /// we take Hindu religion for granted and look for stories to show Hinduism in bad light .... u go to small towns and villages in india all religions live peacefully .have been living peacefully for at least 1000ys since muslims first arrive..not because Christanity/west taught us to live that way...it because of tolerant hindoo religion ..probelm my friend is that Christians and Muslim dont at least acknowledge that...It only india where religion does come in the way of becoming president /PM/CM...See US and UK ..in one country Catholic cant become Pres and in ouher a protestant ..no religion is perfect ,but all of them many good things to learn..and I hope other religions in India dont make religion a number game and respect each other customs and beliefs

Stop talking non-sense. To be a true hindu, you don't have to convert. Hinduism is a broad Dharma. It is very flexible. I don't see naming ceremony as 'dirtying a place', so there was no need for 'Shudhi'. Hinduism is a forward looking religion - It is never a stinking still-water. A few handful of people. If the laws of the temple are not changed, they have to be changed.
Of course, entry of other religion people is another matter. I am for allowing all, but some sanctity and more importantly security has to be maintained. If you allow all Mapillas to enter as a group, you don't know what their intentions are. But if they are coming as devotees or even as just a curious onlooker visiting to savor the amience of the temple they should be welcome.

I understand, any non-muslim enteing the town of mecca will lose his head. I sincerely wish that anyone will dispute this and say that it is not so.
