This is a temple NOT A PICNIC SPOT
by on Jun 04, 2007 09:49 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Those who have renounced hinduism or from other relegion and who have no faith in hinduism have no business in temples. They mostly come to see the sculptures , statutes and for time pass. For Hindus it is faith, belief ,reverance....
Temples are no picnic spot. So Please stay out. There are other places to pass your time.

Mr. Vyalar Ravi's son has been denied entry/ had certain purification done because his mother is a Christian NOT BECAUSE HE IS FROM EZHAVA CASTE. Kerala is a matrimonial society and relegion of mother is that of his son.

At the same time temple authorities and preists too should change themselves a bit. Those who have genuine faith in Hindu relegion should be allowed with all respect and dignity even if they are not technicaly from Hindu relegion. Disrespect should never be shown to such persons. If a new guy goes to church the pastors and bishops there treat him like a king - great marketing tactic. This is one of the reason Christianity has found many takers around the world.
