Yes,the Guruvayyur Devasthanam (temple authorities') action is condemnable. It's all because of untouchability, secterianism and caste that caused Hinduism 's downfall and will lead to its demise. Many of the upper caste people are not listening to all this even at this juncture.

hi Rajeswari.. have you conducted any religious ceremony at your residence, or did you go to any temple to conduct a particular private relieigous ceremony like the naming ceremomy, feeding ceremony, etc... ever had to conduct a Sradhdha (yearly remembrance of the departed soul).... or you do these things yourself without the help of a priest (upper caste)... Prorogative of doing puja is not of upper caste and brahmins... even you can do it...then why every other caste (other than the upper caste brahmins) is depending on brahmins to do these type of activities? is that is acceptable to you, then you need to accept certain conditions and beliefs followed by them tooo...
