Identity Card
by SundaraRajan K on Jun 04, 2007 10:39 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Many number of devotees are visiting the temple. Is it possible for anyone to check whether he/she is a Hindu who is entering the temple to offer their prayers? Or will the temple priests demand proof of religion from the devotees in the form of some idenity cards?

Check your facts Rajesh. Hinduism is a culture as per a recent Supreme Court opinion. And not a religion. So it can not be compared with any semetic religions.

Plus almost all major temples have a board which says: ONLY Hindus are allowed to enter.

If some non-Hindus still enter, he is breaking the law and can be persecuted.
