Many number of devotees are visiting the temple. Is it possible for anyone to check whether he/she is a Hindu who is entering the temple to offer their prayers? Or will the temple priests demand proof of religion from the devotees in the form of some idenity cards?

Check your facts Rajesh. Hinduism is a culture as per a recent Supreme Court opinion. And not a religion. So it can not be compared with any semetic religions.
