If Brahman do not permit SCs in temple they should not go there they should make there own temples and should make there own priest,ther should not be any hue and cry on this,since it s happeneing thousnand of years in India Brahman make rest untouchable.But the untouchables should proclaims himself untouchable with pride,no body can make any one untaouchable when God make all people equal,Islam do not allow descrimination in the name of colour catse and creed.Islam is a religion of equality and give equal rights to all human.A black lowest catogry person can lead prayer and a king can read under his leadership

All religions has issues, buddy. Muslims hasn't documented it. See the sect based violence in Iraq. Islam is famous for Shia-sunni conflicts, throughout the history. Religion/Caste/sect created God. Not the other way around.

Zaheen, I do agree with you on the issue of Hindu untouchability policy, though I believe ground realities are getting better daily.
Islam does seem to have divisions, sunnis and shias. Besides I don't think women are treated on-par with men in many forms of Islam. For example, I seem to have read somewhere that there was no woman mentioned by name in Quran saving Mary . Why wasn't there even one woman prophet in Quran?

Dear sarat,If untouchabality finish from hinduism,this religion will also become a mass and global religion.
Shia and Sunni both are allowed in mosques for pray Gujjar and meena are fighting too.
I ask to read Qoran youself instead of reading any where else.Islam has given rights to women before Islam women used to buried alive and here it is still going on by killing girl child in womb and by sati

Zaheen, I understand that. Let's not get into an argument on which is worse. There was a time when there was Sati (I believe this is a lot of time back) and infanticide (due to dowry problem which was widespread a little while back, but going down surely) here.
Reading Quran is obviously not practical. I tried both Quran and Bible. The language is so different and the books so thick and obviously, no insult intended, boring (I would say the same about many Hindu books too).
Anyway, coming back to Islam, I still think the plight of women needs a lot of improvement. It does look quite depressing from outside and also I still think they are giving enough importance and surely not equal rights (I saw somewhere they used equity and not equality). But I think women should have a right to do what they want, wear what they want and whatever else just like guys. And we must admit the theology of Islam has no place for women as prophets. Don't you think that we'll need improvement there?

Plight of women need to be improved in every religion.Women and men both allowed to wear any dress which is sober and non voulgar.I do admit women have been expolited by followers of every religion the position should improve.You read transletted version of Qoran especially of Ahmed Picthall in English and Mohd. hamid in Hindi.I wolud like to suggest you to read the book of ahmet Deedat also

Tell me why are you follwing the religion of Arabian Desert Tribes ? for the Great Shariaw laws ? Or banning Music and art like done in Pakistan, or destroying Bhamiyan Budhas which was there before the advent of Islam ???
