If Kalam thinks he is popular and fit for public life, leave alone the office of the President, why doesn't he make this explicit and contests for MP from Chennai.
People would fall over each other to vote for him. He can then contest for PMship in parliament.
But I know he wouldn't do that as he knows he can't win. He would contest only if he is sure to win and no other party puts candidate aganinst him.

Right he can not win the election because elections are not that clean any more. We won't have any goons who could win election for him..he won't distibute liquor & money to people to vote for him...not to mention he will not bring castism into politics...the problem is people like us just chat on internet don't go for voting....

Dont blem to CONGRESS & Other Party, We literate people should have to gather & do the compaign agaist this type of dirty politiciance, give the vote against this dirty (RASCAL) politiciance, Very Imp. is we also should have to capaign in very village & gaon gaon and teach & give the education to illiterate & poor people, so they will also become a literates & educated like us. BCoz this dirty polician are depending upon the poor & uneducated people. This people are giving major votes to them. They dont know about politics & his dirty games.
