Why didnt Dr.Kalam while he was president clarify the position about the hanging of Afzal? ( now says that he had not received any papers from the government) ?

As president he has to display certain official secrets..so might be telling now...if we ask cong abt the death of Subhash, LAl bahadhur still more facts will come out...

The president is the first citizen of India. This is not some secret where the security of the country would be in danger. He should have clarified his position right at that time.
