Mr Kalam would surely have read in the media that a section of Indian citizens were opposed to the delay in deciding the mercy plea. If the matter was pending at Government level for long time, what prevented Mr Kalam from being pro-active and calling for the papers immediately? After all, he was in the supreme powerful seat of the country then. When it suited him, he showed activism. Not otherwise.

I agree with Sukumar Mehta. Did no one ask the same question to Mr. Kalam when he was a president? Why didn't he answer the same when he can do something? One can't escape from their duties by blaming someone else

I agree with you totally.Kalam SAahab has excuses for everything.If you think you are a crusader,act like one.Dont just lecture
