Its a shame that the Countrys Ex-President Mr.Kalam had to resort to this level for his personal popularity.Its been just 2 days since he moved out of Rashtrapati Bhawan and he is already started divulging details of minutes of meeting with PM.Whatever happenned to Code of Conduct,Code of secrecy?Just for some Media bytes?This is not done.And whoever said he was apolitical should eat his words.Uncle is a smooth operator.

No President in the history of India has given "Media Bytes".Its only for net-surfing people like you who dont matter in the hustings.Lecturing in the plush Anna University and talking big is different from understanding hunger,poverty and unemployment that the nation is engulfed into.If he thinks he has a streak of crusader in him,he is in for a major shock ala Mr.Seshan.

You seem to have some connection to the congress or the PM. Otherwise what is your problem. Then comes your code of conduct, code of secrecy blabla... All these are meant to protect the nations security information and not to protect a partys/persons wrong-doings. Congress and the puppet Singh are hell bent on saving the terrorist Afzal Guru just because he is a Muslim. We should respect Kalam because he didn't divulge these, when he was in Office though it ruined his image. By the way he is the one who has the cleanest of the images even compared to the puppet Singh. Please do not post your personal politically motivated views and disregard the greatest indian President.

Naturally, Dr. Kalam could not speak about these issues when he was the President due to the "Code of Conduct" and the "Code of Secrecy" that you mention.
But now that he is no longer the President, his lips are no longer sealed.
And, for Heaven's sake, he is not revealing any classified or confidential information.
And regarding "Media Bytes", does a Living Legend like Dr. Kalam need to resort to giving "Media Bytes?"

Mr.Saurabh,Let me tell you one thing.Technically now he is not under any oath for his conducts.But morally and ethically he has no rights to disclose anything whatsoever...This smells of opportunism of the worst order..What stopped him for ordering for the mercy plea while he was president..Now whats the point in clarifying...

I don't know whether you are from India or some far away country. I pity on you. He kept on telling president should not just sit in Rastrapathi Bavan like a statue and evry one should be able to reach him. And you are talking about bloody protocols etcetra. He did not disclose any thing about our neuclear plants are some thing. At least try to look into ur self before you comment on such a wonderful person. Dont you ever dare to comment in public about him, that might be ur last day. Do you know what he spoke to P.M, He just mentioned he spoke to P.M and he got the necessary info. Common dude, grow up!

Mr.Susanta,I wonder what has Mr.Kalam done for a Common Indian for everyone to make him a posterboy.I respect him for his contribution in Indias Missile Programme.Other than that can anyone give me any one of his contribution that has effected a commoners life.And im not talking about his "Lectures"

One does not understand as to why Code of conduct and code of secrecy need to be observed in the matters of public interest? Is he discussing defence or other sensitive matter? Sorry Friend, you have miserably failed to judge Mr. Kalam.
