Mr.Bal Thakre had not favoured Mr. Kalam
by Krishna Mohan on Jul 27, 2007 06:34 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Mr.Bal Thakre has not favoured Mr. Kalam for second time only because of the delay in deciding on the mercy plea of Mohammed Afzal Guru, facing a death sentence for his role in the terror attack on Parliament. Now when Mr. Kalam has made clear that he has not received back the same from Govt., Mr. Thakre must regret his decission

Kalam should never have been made the president instead he should have been asked to make missile instead. He was a rubber stamp president and all Indian president's will continue to be in future. India's dirty politicians want such a president always.

He did revolt at Rajivji at one point of time and he did want Rajiv to be the PM in the first place. There were so many differences with Rajiv Gandhi if you remember.

dear m

u r wrong. kalam was not a rubber stamp president. he had returned the office of profit bill, which was aimed at saving sonia and other MPs. though sonia also enacted the drama of resigning and getting reelected from her pet seat of amethi, wasting lot of public money unnecesarily.

Mr. Ganesh never ever use the word Rubber stamp to kalam, he was never given the chance to sign the paper, kindly try to understand the situation. It has once again proved, that throughout his tenure of president, this was the only flaw people were pointing, even now that is cleared. JUST GREAT KALAM.

If he was not as you say then he should have taken care to see that people like Afzal are hanged or soon some amendment should ne made in the constitution where these terrorists are hanged immediately and not take 5 or 10 years. Do you think you can commit a similar crime in Saudi Arabia and be pardoned. No instead they hang a person the same friday and send mutton parcel to India. I am sorry.
