As long as caste and religion are kept at the back burner and everybody is treated equally on economic criteria our country can never be secular. Our politicians want vote and to appease certain section of the people they want to keep caste and religion alive. It is we the people of this country have to take the responsibilty to throw all these existing politician and elect well qualified and educated person at the helm of affair.

In My view,Muslims living in the country have not been educated properly.This is not to blame Mulims,as this phenomenon of negligence towards education is common in Hindu lower casts also. Muslims along with the lower class of people are left behind indeed!!But to us the people it has different meaning...to Politicians it has different---Their solution for this-- 1.Give Reservations on different pretexts at regular time intervals--so that vote plotics is encashed properly. 2.Dont say anything...like population control etc to Muslims...because opposition will take air out of your such policy. 3.Give them superficial things like Huj subsidy--who cares whether muslim are not getting well off in masses 4.Always try to keep some rumors about Hindu fundamentalists...so that our image of secular remains.. SO OVERALL,LET'S CARE ABOUT OUR VOTES FIRST!! GUYS WE NEED TO TAKE UP POLITICAL PARTIES RATHER THAN TACKLING TERRORISTS!!WESTERN COUNTRIES HAVE SO FAR MAINTAINED BALANCE ATLEAST BETWEEN THEIR RELIGIOUS MINOROTIES.

why we are fighting like hindu muslims .This is the fight against terrorism not fight against any religion. Iam Hindu and I have many muslims friends who love the country.

You are missing the point of the original post. Please read it carefully. Original post if criticizing Indian Government (especially Congress and Commis) policies rather than blaming Muslims. It is the SO CALLED SECULAR politics thats ripping the country apart. Situation will remain same as long as there are different laws based on religion, as long as there are different treatments to citizens based on religion, caste and race. So, please read posts carefully and try to unuderstand before commenting.
