This shows that South Asians essentially have a slave mentality. It was Maharajas, Sultans, Khans, Mughals who ruled various parts of undivided India. They passed on the mantle to their children and public fell on their feet. It was British who civilized Indians and taught them self respect but 100 years of British was not enough for us.

Before British came It was Maharajas and Mugals who picked up women at will and raped them. They used to maintain harems with so many women not to speak of use and throw women.
It was Brits who brought rule of law and civiliaztion to our country. British were the best thing to have ever happened in India's history. Indians should be forever grateful to English. Kyon Bhiayya samj gaye? Imagine some more british influence n UP and Bihar or you feel laloos, mayawatis, mulyam yadavs would be better?
