Minority appeasement
by Ramanath Babu on Dec 24, 2007 07:40 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

What is wrong in BJP demanding execution of Afzal Guru who has been sentenced by the highest court of the land? Why should congress feel about it?. Anyone who believe in democray would demand death for Afzal who dared to attack indian parliament. At the same breath, I wish Afzal and his men had succeded when partliament was in session so that we could have got rid of many of the traitors who are sitting in parliament. No matter even if some had become martyr in the process.

What kind of stay you are referring to? What is wrong if Muslims concede the demand of majority community? AFter all, the majority in INdia believe that it is the birth place of Rama. Can't Muslims spare few places like Ayodhya, Mathura, Varanasi, Tirupathi etc.

Had congress behaved in the same manner (i.e. opposing the execution of Afzal) if any of their leaders or for instance any of Gandhi family members was killed in the attack on parliament?
