What did his party Shiv Sena do ? He cannot even rule maharastra. There was a time when there were great hopes on Thackrey as the next PM of India. What happened to all that. Today some jokers are ruling india and where is thackrey ? He was supposed to India's next PM.
Best thing hindus can do to is to get rid of castism. And try to see why as a society we became easy prey for murderous hordes of mohammed. What is pakistan but a part of india that we lost because indians/hindus or whatever you want to call people who lived south of sindhu river, were shortsighted and living in well. Not realizing that best defense is the offense. Non violent priciples of Buddha were great for a time, but were no match to murderous armies of mohemmed. In that respect, I do like a quote from Monmohan when he said - world may show sympathy to the weak, but ultimately it respects the strong. So best thing for hindus is to unite and forget castism, dowery etc evils and make a strong indian/hindu society.

Hindus have already gotten rid of casteism. Inter-caste marriages are common.
Its the Congress(under xtian orders) that still pushes for reservation policy to impose casteism and divide hindus so that they can convert them easily.
