My fears
by Monodeep Chakraborty on Dec 11, 2007 06:47 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Since my childhood I adhere to a Hindutwa ideology. But I fear people living in fear. If any citizen lives in fear it is dangerous for the country. I don't know whether these reports are baised or not. I sincerely believe that irrespective of their ideological affiliations (of course not anti-national) a citizen of India should be able to live freely and without any fear. Might be constant fear may drive a nationalist muslim into arms of anti nationals.

Dear Monodeep,

Even I have seen and even stayed with Mlims for some years but I have not come across a single nationalistic Mlim.

If you are not so sure, then talk to your Mlim friends about Uniform Civil Code, you will then realize what I said.

All they want is Islamic India and now they realized that with people like Modi it may never be possible. Hence the utterances such as 'living in fear' etc.

In my opinion, there are more Hindus living in fear in India when compared to Muslims in India.
