The Gujarat government has admitted to 489 cases of farmer suicides across the State since 2003. Social activist Bharat Jhala got the information, taking recourse to the Right to Information Act.

Releasing the data here under the aegis of Act Now for Harmony and Democracy, in the presence of relatives of 17 farmers who committed suicide, Mr. Jhala said the information was gathered with difficulty and only on the intervention of the Central Information Commissioner.

Even now, according to him, information on six districts was not made available. %u201CStill, the scene that has emerged from this information is very frightening. 489 suicides in four years among the farming community are indicative of an ominous trend in the agrarian sector in Gujarat,%u201D he said at a press conference.

...... This is true picture of Gujarat & Narendra Modi's development!

Wait!! till you see the election result of vibrant
democracy of Gujrat.
What will you say if Modi wins.
I know, traitors like u will say ignorant, illetrate people got stuck on hindutva and caste their votes.
To be really cleat this election was for development till a foreigner talked nonsense about religion indirectly and Modi got the cue.
it is like, in Mahabharata Yuddha, everything was going good until Abhimanyu was killed and war time rules were first flirted y kauravas, and when Pandavas used their own game they were all dead.
That is the moral of the story.
Nandu please conver to islam and go to saudi.

Where will the poor Gujarathi farmers go?

Will Gujarathis close their eyes to Gujarat Govt's official reply under RTI that 489 farmers have committed suicide?

Are Gujarathis such third rate fools?

Mind you Narendra Modi on one hand accepts suicide of 489 farmers but in public meetings he says no farmer has committed suicide in Gujarat.

Do the Gujarathis respect such a liar?
