i have been to banglore & i found it was a dirty city. never mind bombay being dirty & polluted & overcrowded, but at least transport system is great (trains, buses, autos etc.)and people r great too. dont compare bangalore or any other city to bombay. and yes hindi is a national language in case southies dont know.

Link to the Official Languages Act in 1967 in a government website. It clearly states that in non-hindi speaking states English will be the medium of communication along with the local language. http://www.rajbhasha.gov.in/dolacteng.htm

No need to fight over Bangalore is good or not. It is definitly one of the better places in India. Yes of late the popolation has increased and pinched space. But still there is hope as Metro is to set up here. The IT sector has contributed very well to the city. I fore see this city developing on the lines of Singapore and Sanghai. Over every thing I say the people in Karnatka are basically good. Please say any place / city bad, we can work to make it better. By the way I am a Punjabi.

I am expecting some reply on this post saying why are you staying in bangalore for then the answer is I am not staying in bangalore now.. I have prepared myself to say good by to Bangalore.

GANDHINAGAR, India's most clean and green city. In fact it is the second most green city in Asia after Islamabad.
