We should be proud of Hon'ble justice KGB for reaching this position. He had reached this postion just by hard work and determination.
Its something he deserve and reached.. However, by refering him to be the first CJ from a weaker community, I feel we are not giving him the due respect for his ability and hard earned stature.

Yes! Mr. R R Sharma has written absolutely right. This is not common men dividing our society . It used to be politicians so far and now now media unncessarily playing that unwanted role. It would have been much appropriate if Mr. Krishnan's appointment would have been titled with his abilities and achievements instead of making his caste a headline of the day. Same of rediff. Shame on our media.

I completly agree Media is the only hope for this country to improve, They are the only common mans best freind. For the Poiliticians are people of themselves. these type of articles are inspirational for the underpriveledged not because of economic reasons but due to caste, ie inscribed by the society. yes the society never expected this from the dalits, so this is a result of hard work overcoming the societal pressures which are not otherwise faced by non backwards..

Mr Sabu, the CJI is based on seniority. And as far as discrimination is concerned, I don't think the judges, with their millions of pending cases, have time to partake of in discrimination, even if they wanted to.
