very unfortunate. but many times we also contribute to this. keep on exchanging seats in the aircraft, talking loudly, not switching off phones inspite of repeated requests - these happen very often in domestic fllights too. it is irritating for other passengers and causes suspicions.

ur rite, about the civic norms, which every human shud adhere when he travels in planes, trains whatsoever. But yaar in this case we are not talking of humans, these were 12 muslims, so cant really expect them to adhere rules applicable for other humans.SO ALL AND EVERYONE, please give muslims the exception, They shud be allowed to roam, dance and sing in the plane while in takeoff.

I fully agree. There are some basic civic norms. Acting in a suspicious manner like applauding to an incoming mobile phone call, working on laptops during take off etc. is extremely suspicious. This can be done only in domestic flights- not on international flights. They should be happy that in the melee they werent shot by air marshals. And above all they should be fully responsible for the overall extra costs occured to other passengers.
