Rahul Gandhi has no assesment of Ground level realities in interiors of UP. India does not need Rahuls, it need a man of Iron will and capabilities to lead. Congress workers are litterly slave. Even, I should say that..without having slave mentality one can not servive in congress. Buttering of a family. No one has better capabilities than a family member...shame on you congresies. Yes It is true (unfortunately though) that Rahul 'Gandhi' can help congress in UP, but he can not help UP. Eventhough India is a country with democracy and its people are adopting to democracy fastly, the congress party still loves monarchy, and can survive only if it has some king (or queen) from Nehru-Indira family. This passion and love of the congress for monarchy may be helpful in the survival(and revival) of the congressman and their party but it isdetrimental to the coutry's survival.

I do not understand y we are so obsessed with Congress Gandhi family and there attachment with UP. What is there contribution in UP?
At the time of independence UP was among the most advance states of the country. Countries 54% of the revenue was coming from UP; Great universities (Allahabad, Kanpur, Varanasi, Lucknow and many more), big industries (Kanpur was the second biggest industrial area of the country), fertile Ganga Valley, healthy tourism, wealthy people; everything was there.
After 50 years we all know about UP, I need not have to give facts. So this is Congress parties contribution in modernization and progress of UP.
Sorry to say but they only Enjoy the power for 50 years. Trend is same in UP still corrupt politicians are exploiting the people for there selfishness.

I have no words to protest on the words used by you on the present Govt. in UP. Do not blindly support Congress party since it can only surive under the shadow of Raebarili/Amethi heros (Nehru family). You are in utter confusion and the people who are blindly supportng congress party is not thinking that Indian constitution duly supports demoratic rule but this congress is not beliving demoratic rule to continue. The acts and omissions of Congress rule is against demoratic ideology. Congress is dead if Nehru Family is not interested to control the Congress party. What is the history of present Sonia Congress. The previous congress party who leads this country for obtaining political freedom from British rule died when Nehru died. When Nehru Dies Congress idoelogy also died. There are many questions arised WHICH ARE STILL NOT SOLVED about the sudden death of Lal Bahadur Shastri in Tashket and other many many cases which are supporting that the leaders of the congress and its coteries alongwith some foreign supports only wanted to take leaders from Nehru family and congress politics after that is only Nehru Gandhi politics. If it is like Rahul will lead congress if he is sincere and has good education background, then probably the whole country would benefit if the political parties decide some one from IIT and IIM to lead.
Rahul has not done any thing substantial to prove he is worth considering a leader. Being a descendant of Nehru family will not make him worthy.
