Its sad to see what Mumbai is going through. Its even sad to hear that even in such times, politicians are not sparing a thought and making statements of throwing non Mumbaikars out. I think its time people realised that Mumbai is what it is today, due to the amalgamation of all the cultures. By making such statements, the politicians and in turn the authorities are trying to deviate attention from their inefficiencies and irresponsible behaviour. The city has grown at a rate which is not sustainable. The natural waterways were filled up, the infrastructure was not upgraded and whatever money was collected, went into someones pocket. I guess we will have to live with all of it, unless we stand up and speak and force the people to take action.
