And the academy award for the best art direction in 2008 goes to Congress party for the movie Slumdog millionaire.
Sonia Gandhi on her acceptance speech said that it took around 50 years of hard work for them to create the theme and background for this movie very naturally. She added that many more such wonderful sets are created by them across this country. She is hopeful that these sets will attract more and more hollywood directors.

Dear Indians/ Americans, It is great insult for Indians. How dare the Americans can name the movie as Slumdog Millionaire for the movie based on Indian story? The word "Slumdog" really hurts. Somebody have an explanation, as the word "Dog" is not insulting. If you think it is fine to call the former United States President as "Bald dog President" and the current one as "Black dog President", Whoever leads the place where Hollywood located.. Please be considerate about others too. You can ask me, “ Are you considering others?”. I will consider the people or a team who consider others. Call back the movie…!

why not ...? If you have a system which openly denies human rights... If you have a syetm which is dumb to the attrocities in the name of culture, religion and region.. If you have a sysetem which doesnot tolerate human beings in your own country itself....
Even a human looking person in any other part of the world have every rights to say ...'You are not human'
Whether it is a foreigner made or indian made... Whether you label it as a 3rd class or 1st class one (hope you still agree that majority of the people in this country doesnot even have a 3rd class life)....
First let ourself change to Qualify as Sensible & Worthy HUMAN BEINGS!!!

Yes, by blessing our lots in those Oscars, we surely have accepted our status as slumdogs. That is most certainly an insulting term. Would a name like "Lucky Millionnaire" or "Indian Millionnaire?" would have repelled the Oscars?
