Billa 2007 is a good watch, for a tamil movie - considering the type of movies which have come by of late. Whether its a remake or not - as an individual film it does just okay.(positive sense) The first half, as all say - is a bit slow. The second half is one of the best I have seen in tamil cinema. (I am no ajit-fan by the way, and I still liked it) On the lines of Aayutha Ezhuthu and Vettayadu Vilayadu, the visuals were a treat to watch. You don't come across such visuals everyday. And what do we have here ? A reviewer who is so careless to omit even the specification of camera work, leave alone Nirav Shah in his viewpoint of the film. I have seen reviewers criticise camera work, thats perfectly fine. But this sort of a review is highly unprofessional, and not expected out of a site such as Rediff. The other things in the film were female leads which were not properly utilized for the characters, and the story could have been more in content. I think its time Rediff gave the Reviewer job a little consideration and put in professionals, not amateurs.
