Hi, I have been reading rediff reviews from last one year.I feel that rediff review are excellent. Rediff has maintained a standard in reviewing movies. For readers, here is a guidance to watch the moview based on rediff review. 1. If rediff review says movie is good, then it is a must watch 2. If rediff review says movie is average , then you can still enjoy the movie. 3. If review says moview is bad, then dont watch this movie.

I do feel that the critics at Rediff do not, sometimes, do justice to the film but it is quite possible that they are just bowing down some pressure, presumably ulterior motive of rediff itself.
To cite an example - Kisna - I think we all agree what a "wonderful" movie it was. A piece of art which lacked everything (script, acting, direction, you name it) - Kudos Mr. Ghai. But rediff went on by publishing an excellent review and having the horrible "Kisna specials".
I think it is high time that rediff took an independent stand for things; to start with movies. Criticize or praise it, but be fair and consistent, thats all we ask.
