In early 2008, recall that Mr. Sridharan, CMD of Delhi Metro Project - with his impeccable professional record - advised the AP State Government about the irregularities and tailoring the Tender process to award the Tender to MAYTAS. The State Govt turned a blind's eye and Mr.Sridharan quit. There was so much news in the TV and newspaper on the above. Surprised that not a single channel or newspaper has contacted Mr. Sridharan's for his version on MAYTAS episode then. I am certain that the truth of 'SATYAM>

The Govt and local press were baying for Mr. Sreedharan's blood then and wanted him to apologise. Wonder why no one is seeking his ocmments now.

Cheating on tenders is an accepted and common practice in India - probably that's why no one paid much attention.
Bridges don't collapse automatically within a few years - it's because the contractor cut his costs that he had to grease all the people who "fixed" the deal.
