CPIM's logic is all too convinient. If they really feel strongly about it and want to disassociate from UPA, then they should withdraw support.
You can't say 'we support this government to keep BJP from coming in' even when you say this govt. is ruining the country!! By implication CPIM is ruining the country!!
But, realistically, I feel the fuel price raise was very modest. We pay for the fuel one way or the other (Where will the govt. bring the money from)? I think they are just postponing the burden to next govt. by not raising the prices to cover the full shortfall.
Also, The question people should really be asking MM Singh and MC are that - WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO REDUCE GOVT. EXPENDITURE?? Most of Oil taxes goes to funding useless govt. machinary, if they make it more efficient, they can easily bring down the taxes.
