1. To do all American monotones BPO, KPO and other IT third rated jobs in the name of IT super power nation. But American companies will do high end work like system analysis and Intellectual property creation (i.e creating Tech products) to sell back to India on 1000 times profit. American always will remain as technology superpower. 2. To buy all the technologies/tech product developed in USA like nuke, Electronics, computers etc. to strengthen the American economy 3. To support American endowers with out thinking and questioning them 4. To sell higher education to Indians
“…traditional allies like the United Kingdom, Germany or Canada have little or no relevance…”. They are not needed for the above purposes.
In net result. The lackhs and lachks of engineering graduates coming out of the colleges are joining IT and ITES Company. All the core industries are suffering/dead. R&D is dead. India economy is became service economy. Future of India will be doing begging services from developed country.

you seem to be a slave of US keep at it. To develop R&D facilities takes a lot of time. US did not become a superpower overnight. It took 200 long years and it had the luck of seeing its European competitors fight among themselves in WWI and WWII. So cut the crap and do something. India's goals are diffrent right now(poverty eradication, high growth etc). Once India tackles that India can catch up with US or any other country. It is a matter of time. You want India to achieve in 60 years as much as US has done in 200 years. In fact US citizens at 60 years old were busy killing each other. Before you blabber know something.

Future of the world is Technology power. Poverty can’t be eradicated without technology. India can provide safe drinking water to its polulation with out technology; good heath care is not possible with out technology power. Agriculture can't be strengthened with out technology. First green revolution was purely pouring fertilizers. Is it possible now?. Ok creating R&D facility may take time. What is happening to the created facilities?. Is there any account.
At least does the government is serious about this

True to some extent, We can not blame US for our doing BPO KPO hub. You have companies like TCS, Wipro, Satyam, Infosys and even Govt Cos. like CDAC NIC, What products they created and how many patents they hold all together? How many products HAL or DRDO created in time and without cost over run.US did not say that you dont develop work culture or reserve seats in IITs and IIMs on cast not merit. We have to blame ourselves then only we can improve finding problem in Pakistan and US is no solution.Our scientists are doinggreat in NASA and US Uins why not here?The one clean PM who is not a good politician thaatys why he will fail and give signal to all educated and clean persons not to join Indian politics . We can build our Higher education to attract students from US, UK but who is interested in Building Institutions?Ramdoss destroyed AIIMS MM Joshi killed IIT and IIM's reputation by creating all the wrong news.Indian students have freedom to choose among US, UK Australian, Newzealand, chinese Russian Universities and all these countries are getting enough of Indian students not US alone.Only we want to see our kids in US to feel proud.
