I pity the Bengalis
by Rajagopal on Aug 26, 2008 06:08 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

I am really pained at the plight of common Bengalis because of politically professional Bengalis.

I pity ,y fellow common men and women for not being able to see and enjoy the fruits of industrialization that we enjoy in the rest of the country.

I pity them because of their inability to make a decision on their collective welfare without intervention by politicians. It could also be that a good half of them have really begun to think like the communist politicians, include Mamta or exclude, but the fact remain the same.

I pity the Bengalis. I pity them because two desperate souls are on the verge of a definite failure to reverse this trend.

I really pity them again because Bengalis have been bereaved of another 100 years of their future. They are being pushed into another age of sufferings, labor/peasant militancy and darkness.

Finally I pity the common Bengalis because they are forced to have faith in this dark and suffering lives.

God save My country.

I understand you guys are frustrated along with Ratan Tata about the Rolling out of Nano! that makes you sort of Abuse Bengalis - know this Bengalis are more happier lots whether there is industry or there is'nt any - Industrialization is not what have been preached in any Religious script. So guys take it easy and I am sure there are better cars than Nano available in the market - well if you can afford buying them. Otherwise just wait and watch I am sure sure you will be able to buy a Nano which will off course roll out of Bengal. Cio

Dear,
Thanks for such a mind bogling analysis. I generally travel betwn Mumbai and Kolkata and to be very honest their is nothing interesting for me in Mumbai. By wearing jeans and eating junk foods and by messing in night u think u have made a point to the world. I say u r the unhappiest person in the earth. U have better roads poor traffic. U work for 18 hours but can not see the faces of ur dearer frequently, u go to pub form relationship and then boose when the relationship breaks. U r the frustrated lot in the earth and a farmer in Singur lead a much happier life than u so u please don't try to act empathy on their behalf.

Mr. Chatterjee, the problem with most Indians is that they only think and act for themselves. Support for TATA revolves on how they can get some jobs and then their lives rotates on that job, marriage etc.

If you explain that the farmer is also supporting himself with that field and also feeding us and that taking away the field is taking away his livelihood and future generations that will not enter any one's head and you will only get abused.
