Mr. Supratim Basu, giving back of commission is legally banned by IRDA and your Insurance Licence can be terminated if IRDA comes to know about it. Better be careful before being greedy and giving statements like this in writing and that too on internet where thousands of people read it.

Another advice Mr. Basu is please stop this practice of paying back commission to clients. That is your family's bread & butter. You are taking away those "tasty food", "smart clothes", "luxurious lifestyle" and everything from your family and giving it to your clients. You take all the pain... why.... only to earn 2%,, 3% or 5% and rest of the commission you return it to your client. Why do business when you don't get enough profits. Better do a job then. The commission which you pay back to your cients, same can be utilized to give a jewellery to your wife or a expensive toy to your kid or a CHARDHAM yatra to your old parents and then see the smile on their faces and you will feel that nothing can be as precious as these smiles. I think we insurance and mutual fund agents should stop this practice of paying back commissions.
