do we need more IITs?

itz the quality that matters not the quantity.

so if the decision is to increase the number, think of two things our IIT graduates were the best in the world till date the main reason is that their quality is very high and their subject knowledge is very high because there is only the best in the IIT.

personally speaking i missed IIT in a very close combat and i am least bothered because i dont deserve it and so the rest because of quality difference.

the second reason is that dont see educationoal service as a trade its inhuman and against the laws of nature.

Don't underestimate yourself. If you had missed getting a seat in IIT, there is nothing disastrous thing happened to you. And don't be under an impression that IIT students are the only brilliant brains in the country. There are several brilliant engineering graduates emerging from other reputed colleges who have already made a mark in India and Abroad. Instead of just regretting that you missed a seat in IIT, do your best in your present course and surpass even the IIT guys.
