The gap between "haves" and "have nots" in the society is widening. Stalking, snatching and stealing is only going to increase. Best way is to watch out (a) don't dress up in a manner that attracts unwanted attention, unless you have strengthend yourselves to handle such people (b) don't carry jazzy bags inviting attention (c) change rountes and times of arrival departure every day (d) try to be in places where there are people around, as far as possible. (e) do not demonstrate extra friendly body language that can invite stalkers attention. Avoid odd hours if possible. above all, if we cannot solve a problem, we have to learn to live with it!

Now a days even 60 year old rapes 3 year old girl.40 year old man abuses his 7 year old nephew.Is this beacuse of extra friendly body language?

Roy sab, You're absolutely right. Infact there was a study in Egypt where I read that 70% of foreign tourists and 80% of local Egyptian women complaint of secual harrassment in some form daily , that women who are covered are not spared.
Please Sivaram, do not generate panic or hysteria.Just be vigilant,inform police and friends in case you are a victim.

thats pathetic !! Roy, sivaram was suggesting something...u dint even do that and u criticize him ?? Such poor attitude is a cause of our backwardness
