Much ado About Nothing
by Aman Agarwal on Dec 22, 2009 10:47 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

i dont understand whats the reason for this post.
its very easy to block these websites. i am myself a network engineer and i have implemented this not only to save the bandwidth but also to channelise the energy in the right direction. if any office is concerned about its workforce spending a lot of time in browsing social networking website then it should just block the webistes and also the proxy website which allows the users to bypass the proxy servers.
Period!!

highly unlikely you can block or proxy websites as new ones crop up every day. Also what would you do with people who has internet on mobile phones ..use a phone jammer?

Whenever possible, we should carve out blocks of time, away from phones and e-mail, for different kinds of thinking.
