Food-a-holics paradise
by Shashank on Aug 01, 2006 04:35 PM   Permalink

Hi freinds,

All said and done, however what I feel is that i am lucky to be born and brought up in Delhi.

In Delhi you can easily get food from around the country and below Rs. 20, whether is Dhokla from Gujrat, Dosa from south, Chat from UP or bhature from north.

Just try and spend some time in the lanes of Old Delhi and in Rs.20 you can afford a kings meal.

There is a street by name of Gali Arya Samaj (Sita Ram bazar). There you can find couple of Shops selling Kachoris with Aaloo Subzi. Trust me its a treat, in Rs.5, you get two kachoris, Aaloo subzi, Kachaloo Subzi, gajar ka Achar, Mirchi ka Achar etc. What else can you ask for in 5 bucks.

The same shops serve Puri and bedmi in Mornings, again two of them at Rs.5 (includes all the usual stuff).

As far as the taste goes, well none of my visits is complete in that area without those kachoris.

Well since I am a food junkie and have enjoyed my food at lot of places, keep on checking this place for more details.

Shashank
