Dada

Where r all d dada supporters gone. Why cant u live with the fact that past is past. I am sure u all feel that Laxman should play till he is alive becoz he made 281.
Have you observed his body language in the matches. He is absolutely not interested in whats happenin. Being the senior most player, he should be inspirin everyone but he is least bothered. Why?? becoz he is not made the captain. This attitude of Dada stinks!! Why cant he simply play like a team player, the beauty about SRT is that in past 15 years he has always been team player. Be it Dhoni, Dravid, Ganguly, Azhar, Kapil, Srikanth. He never created a fuss, infact all of us can see how he has supported them. But the moment Dada has been removed, he would cry in press and show his displeasure. I seriously feel Dada could have motivated the team and KKR wud have been back but he chose to stay away. He is a selfish cricketer who just wants to constantly prove himself and in the process also is spoilin the team. Have you noticed, that no Indian Player has performed well in KKR team?? all the matches the struggle was done by Hodge, Van Wyk, McCullum, Gayle, Hussey. Infact, all Indians have done is thrown away catches, cant u smell the Dada influence in it. The same thing Greg Chappel had said abt Ganguly in d letter. Yesterday too, 4 runs in 14 balls, i mean give me a break dada, you cant middle a ball!! when McCullum is on fire, All u cud just do is take a single. I feel Dada shud be shown d door by KKR now.

For these avinash's only mughals and british ruled India for 1000 years! After 10 losses due to a foriegn buff one win takes all you Aussie a*s s lickers against a Great Indian Legend! I wud rather say that DADA showed exemplary behaviour by publicly supporting the team / Mccullum although no chance was spared to humiliate him by the foreigners!
DADA need not prove his mettle in a 3rd rated privately owned championship, he has done enough for the nation a million times more than all in this forum. Also I can bet if similar humiliation wud have been meted out to Sachin Shivsena would habe burnt down BCCI office by now and may be Quantas airlines would stop their flights from Mumbai!

Dear Birju,

If IPL according to you is 3rd rate privately owned Championship and the legend that he is, and that he cannot take any humiliation, please tell me why is he playing in IPL then.

The biggest question is if this is about aussies and India then why only Dada all the time... Why not Sachin, Zaheer, yuvraj, Dhoni, Sehwag or Bhajji have any issues with them. Dada did it, when he was removed from captainship of Indian team where he went public about his anger. A matured and a professional person would never ever do that. The email which was leaked did have many facts to be observed. If you need I can resend the PDF file of the letter to you to read.

Captainship was taken away from Dravid and Laxman as well, why didnt they come in Media and speak about it. Just dont blindly follow ur idol, talk some sense brother. He hasnt performed at all in this IPL. He is a failure and the instances he has done in Cricket, during his captaincy are somethings which do bring pride at times but if thought deeply can bring national shame.

Ganguly's performance in this IPL is below par- there are no second opinions about that. But your theory that Indian players in KKR failed because of influence of him is laughable. Who are these Indian players? Why would they throw their lucrative career in IPL for Ganguly? Ganguly is not above criticism but dumbs like you criticize him for everything…………..he certainly does not need certificates from people like you. Just because he has failed in this IPL, one cannot take away all his achievements over the years. I don’t know how much you follow cricket but you should know that Mr Greg Chappel is not liked by most of the present Indian players, including someone called Mr Sachin Tendulkar.

I think you have forgotten Bhajjis Monkey story. You guy's don,t know history and don't have enough idea of statistics. Only two Indians have scored more than 90 in IPL history. Again those who have proper knowledge of cricket do admits Ganguly as a successful captain. Dravid, Laxman forget it yaar..

There is nothing great in captaincy.
Its overhyped by media. DD is winning because players are in form though Viru is said as bad captain.
Same ponting captain team started loosing once greats like gilly/hyden/warne/mcgrath retired.
Same way all dada win because of great sachin/dravid/laxman/kumble performance & he was master in taking credit as a captain. always a true politician. same is true with Dhobi. made by media. will not last more than 2 yrs from now.

This yaar Raina made a 98 and became the third one to score more than 90 in one game. He should have been the first Indian to score a ton.

Again well said Avinash.
Comparing dada with sachin is insult of cricket which only regional biased bong fans can do.
BTW I am neither from bengal nor from mumbai but a true Indian working abroad.
