Sometime, I feel why player of the level of Sachin could not figure out the very obvious- that his team is " Top heavy". With Sachin and Sanath, it makes a formidable opening pair, but invariably at the finish line it is left to youngsters to take them through-which is not happening. Therefore, it makes enough sense that Sachin should come town to 3-4 down. which also gives space to Sanath at the top-who to me appears to be intimidated by his presence. Dominy and Sachin lower down will form good balance. Something similar to Rajasthan Royals who always keep Pathan lower down-since he is their tramp card-& you don't reveal them at the very beginning rather keep them for crunch moment-when it matters. I hope MI come up with something new this time -else it seems all over for them in IPL2.
