i think there is a serious lack of understanding n professionalism in India abt how to handle superstars on the decline .. I think much of it goes to the fact that during their prime, the media makes them demi-gods n above the sport itself.. n then there is extreme criticism when they are past their prime.. The emotional side should never cross the professional side esp in sport...even in a player's prime....cause this is what happens at the end of the career.. humiliating exits..
