Quit with Honour
by Wonder Fool on Oct 07, 2008 05:51 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Its a good decision & will reduce considerable pressure from him. It is always better to end such a fantastic career with honour than with insult & humiliation as happened to Steve Waugh at the end of his ODI career.

GOOD LUCK SAURAV... For the test Series. Make this series a memorable one.

I agree. Ganguly has made the right decision. Let us give him a nice farewell, which he richly deserves. Thanks to the selectors, he has got a good chance to leave the world cricket scene (on field) with an arch of honour from his teammates. He will be remembered as fantastic, David Gover like, elegant left handed batsman and also as an astute captain, who uplifted the spirits of Indian cricket.
