Instead of blaming the bowlers or Dhoni, this idiotic rule must be blamed which is making a mockery of cricket. If you go through the match, a match which is supposed to be of 50 overs a side gets reduced to just 21 overs for Srilanka. If you go by the results of T20 then you can find that this score is easily gettable. So actually the rule is the main problem. There must be a minimum limit for the no. of overs to be bowled.

In some sense i also feel dhoni is right... This kind of situations not only affected india but affected others also. It alwyas hurts the moral of the losing team. What i feel is the point sharing structure can be modifiedto give better justice to both the teams. No doubt, the present DL method is far better than the methods used in earlier days. But we can further improve it.
1. If there is no reduction in overs after the bigining of match (irrespective of no. of overs) then winning team - 8 (with out bonus ) or 10 (with bonus) losing team - 0 points
2. If the number of overs reduced by 1 to 20% of the overs decided before the start of the match winning team - 7 (with out bonus ) or 9 (with bonus) losing team - 1 points
3. If the number of overs reduced by 21 to 40% of the overs decided before the start of the match winning team - 6 (with out bonus ) or 8 (with bonus) losing team - 2 points
4. If the number of overs reduced by 41 to 60% of the overs decided before the start of the match winning team - 5 (with out bonus ) or 7 (with bonus) losing team - 3 points
