My POV

I agree with some of you on this board, our bowlers were not at par to what was needed to win the game. Though I also agree with Dhoni to a high extent, that being a 21 over game could be played much differently to a 29 over game. History has shown that one or two wickets make a HUGE difference in a cricket match. In this case, if Sri Lanka had to make 196 runs to win off 29 overs, then they would have had to make sure that they slow retain wickets for the first 8 overs or so, then would have steeped up, and within that time, INDIA too would have gotten more overs to be able to get more wickets and hence get a better chance. I am not saying that any one specific team would've lost or won, but I take the view that it would have been a fair game had each team played equal number of overs (because INDIA played an ODI and SL played a Twenty20 if you think about it). So all I ask is the ICC to create more fair rules in order to facilitate a FAIR cricketing outcome. Overall, I feel that INDIA is a capable team of winning the series and GOOD LUCK to them! Likewise the other two teams are quite good too, but my loyalty remains with the INDIAN team. JAI HIND!! VANDE MATARAM!! Peace.
