Love thy neighbour
by Indra Sengupta on Feb 13, 2007 10:57 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Some Pak cricketers have been so graceful over the years. I remeber their faces but forgot their names.
Aquib Javed is the one whom I can remember, beside the more illustrious persons like Imran, Akram, Asif Iqbal,Mustaq Ahmed, Sahid Afridi, etc.
I also consider Wasim Akram to be a gentleman par excellence.
Unless it is a match between India and Pakistan I always support Pakistan.
So much in common everywhere between us, I can not help supporting Pakistan.
Same feelings comes to my mind when Bangldesh or Sri Lanka also play international games.
The news of Pakistani cricketers in reported drug addiction is shocking.
Are there not many other thing that the cricketrs could have been addicted to other than drugs?
God knows.
Let India Pakistan be friends forever and leave as brothers togehter.

Hi Indira, you are a true Indian and a genuine lover of the game of cricket. It is because of people like you we still have peace in this world. I would like to know if our brothers in Pakistan also feel like Indira.

Jab tak rahega samosa mein aloo, tab tak rahega bihar me laloo -aur (unfortunately) -jab tak rahega religion -tab tak rahenga this hindu-muslim lafda! Ban all religion worldwide. Humanity should be the only religion of the mankind.

No offense meant. All these good and happy things are only till a small problem happens.I am not blaming the whole of pakistan, but a few policy makers and hardlines(applies also to indians).Peacefule coexistence is an unimaginable thing between us

Thank you Indra. As a Pakistani I appreciate your feelings. Lets cricket be the source for good future for our countries.I hope, one day Dr. Manmohan Sing's wish will become a reality, to have breakfast in Amritsar, lunch in Lahore & dinner in Kabul in one single day.
Lets work on it.
My love to all who thinks like Indra.

Although the message of Friendly Neighbourhood is good and should prevail for the better existence of both the nations, still supporting in the wrong deeds is not the way to go... If they are found positive they shud be banned. Its true for Indian cricketers as well.
