Well done people of Maharashtra...the tradition lives
by BA ABC on Oct 13, 2009 07:57 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

People of Maharashtra have shown once again that our people like slavery. In fact, slavery is inherent in the mindset of most cultures across the world. Of course people of India are better than rest of Asia in general, due to British influence.

In fact, the idea of "free thinking" is remarkably rare in the world. Only at the time of the Renaissance did free thinking arise in a small part of Europe and it spread to France, Germany and England and America. Germany and France had lots of problems accepting it.

Rest of the world is in a dark hole of slavery... Africa, China, Japan, Muslim world... etc etc...and just look at millions of Indians wagging their tails in front of Rahul Gandhi...sickening. Today Rahul goes from door to door representing "young India". How sad... the vision of the mythical, golden "future" of India has also been hijacked now. TV news works for them. The newspapers work for them. The Election Commission works for them. The President is their household maid.

Eigh hundred years under Muslim rule, then 200 years under British rule and now 60 years under Gandhi rule. Will this nightmare never end? Will people never learn to think?

Why can't the people of India rise up, take pride in their own abilities and overthrow these royals who rule our country like a fiefdom? Why do we look to dynasty and not to reason as our saviour?
