2.Corruption
3.Price Rise
4.Total neglect on Infrastrcuture and progress of country.
5.Most communal party ( vote bank)

All these do not mean anything as long as they are elected by the majority of the voters.

Thats our bad luck.Thats why India is in sorry state of affairs.
India,Japan and china started during same period.While they progressed foward to become 2nd and 3rd economy in world we are moving backwards.

But do you really want a society like China? Remember, it is easier to show economic 'progress' under dictatorship - as China has done. I would any day prefer parliamentary democracy - as practised in India, but without the aberrations.

I am referring to economy and not society. In any case, we do not have real democracy its pseudo democracy India has.Worst than anything else !

I admit that democracy is not perfect in India. But, do you have any idea of what happens to people who criticises the government - as you and I are doing in this forum?
I believe therefore that even with all those aberrations, Indian democracy is better than the Chinese dectatorship.

And I hope you know that planned economy succeeds in dictatorship, because people have to comply under force.
