1. From 79 till 99 the winning captains are alternatively LH & RH. So 2003 should belong to Ganguly and not Ponting.... Beautiful logic.
2. Years between 2 world cup wins. WI - 4 (79-75) Australia - 12 (99-87) India - 20 (2003-1983)...... Arre waah!!
Australians are to be blamed. They did not know these predictions. Otherwise we would have won!! Remember the courage of Arjuna Ranatunga who won the toss and elected to field in 1996 though the history till that point was that the team batting first was winning.......
