Agreed matched can and are being fixed, but there is an element of economic viability associated with the fix. You might ward off India's loss to b'desh as a fixed match, but that match was most certainly not fixed because fixing that match would not be economically viable for the players. The consequences of a loss to b'desh are severe and players and management would have to be really stupid to have the match fixed against b'desh, and the same goes against SL. The verdict was simple, they played bad and they lost. So if they play like morons against SL, thats not going to help.
