demolition of democracy
by dakshin on Dec 07, 2007 02:31 PM

Incidents like Gujarat riots, Kaliganagar police firing or Nandigram incident make us think whether we are progressive democracy or regressive anarchy. The work of election commission in Gujarat is laudible, but they are not as active as they were in Bihar and West Bengal. In Bihar they banned Sahabuddin an RJD MP from campaining, why they are not doing the thing with Narendra Modi who is more venomous. Elsewhere in the world he would have spend his life in jail.
