The RBI lied to the govt on the number of notes printed in 500 and 1000 denominations and hence 90% is back to the banks when DeMo. there are many ans till its being recovered during raids in many places old notes. Many in foreign banks for which accounts not there are still lying there. Also some got converted through foreign exchanges in other countries in smaller denominations by many indian residents abroad. Many got them converted to gold, real estate, and diamonds, fake companies were used for conversion and that's how many (3 Lac) shell companies are closed. After Aadhar linking more than 6 crore ration cards out of PDS but on the other hand people from other countries like Bangladesh mynmar muslins aka Rohingyas came ot india illegally and are all over have all indian documents like passport DL Aadhar, ration card etc through illegal means as minority touts using minority minister get all required documents from other states to prove that they are resident Indians and recently there were 27 arrests in bangalore airport when they were caught for illegal travel documents to other countries and confessed to crossover from Bangladesh.
